UPESSC UP PGT Recruitment 2026 Apply Online Form For 2607 Posts

About Post : Uttar Pradesh Education Services Selection Commission (UPESSC), Prayagraj has officially released the detailed recruitment advertisement notice for Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) under Advertisement Number 06/2026. Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up a total of 2,607 vacancies across various subjects for Boys (2,329) and Girls (278) school cadres. UPESSC UP PGT Selection Process & Examination Pattern

  • Selection Stages : Written Examination (360 Marks), Interview (40 Marks), Document Verification, and Medical Examination.
  • Written Examination Pattern (360 Marks) : Total 120 Objective MCQs for 2 Hours duration.
  • • 30 Questions from General Knowledge.
  • • 90 Questions from Relevant Subject.
  • Marking Scheme : +3 marks for each correct answer; -1 mark for wrong/multiple answers (Negative Marking).
  • Interview (40 Marks) : Final selection list will be prepared based on total marks obtained in Written Exam (360 Marks) + Interview (40 Marks) = Total 400 Marks.

How to Apply for UPESSC UP PGT Online Form 2026

  • Visit the official portal of UPESSC at www.upessc.up.gov.in.
  • Complete mandatory One Time Registration (OTR) on the website.
  • Fill in the online application form using your OTR profile in English.
  • Upload scanned photograph (30-300 KB, 300×600 pixels) and signature on white background (10-200 KB, 140×110 pixels) in JPG/JPEG format.
  • Upload required educational/category certificates in PDF format (50-500 KB).
  • Pay the application fee via online payment gateway using Net Banking, Debit, or Credit card.
  • Submit the form on or before 17 October 2026 and print out 3 hard copies for future records and document verification.
