NIFTEE Admission 2027: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the Information Bulletin for the National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination (NIFTEE) 2027, on behalf of NIFT. The exam covers admission to B.Des., B.F.Tech., M.Des., M.F.M., M.F.Tech., Lateral Entry (NLEA), Artisan category and Ph.D. programmes for the 2027-28 session. The NIFTEE 2027 notification has been released on October 16, 2026. Online registration started on October 16, 2026, and the last date to apply with the normal fee is November 16, 2026.
NIFTEE 2027 will be held on January 10, 2027, with GAT as a computer-based test and CAT on pen and paper. B.Des. and B.F.Tech. have a strict upper age limit, and B.F.Tech. requires Mathematics in Class 12, so check the eligibility for your programme before you apply.

Age Limit, Vacancy Details, and Qualification
Age Limit: The age limit for NIFT Admission 2027 is Less than 24 Years for B.Des. and B.F.Tech. There is no age limit for M.Des., M.F.M., M.F.Tech. and Ph.D. The cutoff date for the calculation of the age limit is 01.08.2027. (Use Age Calculator). Age Relaxation will be given as per the rules.

NIFT Admission 2027 Selection Process
The selection process for NIFT Admission 2027 includes the following stages:
- B.Des.: GAT + CAT, followed by Situation Test
- B.F.Tech.: GAT only
- M.Des.: GAT + CAT, followed by Personal Interview
- M.F.M. / M.F.Tech.: GAT, followed by Personal Interview
- NLEA: GAT, followed by Studio Test (B.Des.) or Technical Ability Test (B.F.Tech.) and Personal Interview
- Artisan Category: Artisan Skill Test and Personal Interview
- Ph.D.: Written Test, followed by Research Proposal Presentation and Interview (RPPI)
How to Apply for NIFT Admission 2027
Follow these steps to apply for NIFT Admission 2027:
- Visit exams.nta.nic.in/niftee and register through Meri Pehchaan (Single Sign-On) with your email ID and mobile number.
- Log in with your Application Number and password, then choose one or two programmes.
- Fill in your personal and academic details and select four exam cities in order of preference.
- Capture your live photograph and upload your signature. PwD/PwBD candidates must also upload a UDID card or disability certificate.
- Pay the fee online by November 16, 2026. After that, a Rs. 5,000/- late fee applies until November 21, 2026.
- Download and print the Confirmation Page. You can correct details between November 22 and 25, 2026.
