• General Category Candidates : Rs. 350/-
• OBC Category Candidates : Rs. 250/-
• SC / ST / Divyangjan Candidates : Rs. 200/-
• Fee Refund Rule : As per Chhattisgarh Govt rules, local domiciled candidates of CG state who appear in the exam will get 100% refund of their fee into their bank account.

Age Limit (As on 01/01/2026)

• Minimum Age Limit : 21 Years
• Maximum Age Limit : 35 Years
• Age Relaxation : SC / ST / OBC (NCL) candidates of CG state by 5 years. Female candidates of CG state by 10 years. Maximum age limit after all relaxations shall not exceed 45 years.

Educational Qualification

• Higher Secondary / 10+2 Intermediate (or equivalent) with at least 50% Marks AND 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
• OR Higher Secondary (10+2) with at least 45% Marks AND 2-Year D.El.Ed as per NCTE Regulations 2002.
• OR Higher Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% Marks AND 4-Year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
• OR Graduation Degree in any stream AND 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education.
• MANDATORY CONDITION: Must have passed Teacher Eligibility Test (CG TET or CTET – Primary Level Class 1 to 5). Must hold CG Local Domicile.

CGSSB Written Examination Pattern & Marks Scheme

• Exam Structure : Written recruitment test consisting of 100 Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions for 100 Marks (Time Duration: 2 Hours 15 Mins).
• Negative Marking : 1/4th Mark (0.25 Mark) will be deducted for every incorrect response marked on the OMR sheet.
• Syllabus Breakdown (Total 100 Marks) :• Hindi Language (15 Marks) | English Language (10 Marks)

• Probation Period : Selected candidates will be appointed under a 3-Year Probation Period.

How to Apply for CGSSB Assistant Teacher Online Form 2026

• Visit the official portal website of CGSSB (CG Vyapam) at vyapamcg.cgstate.gov.in or cgssb.cgstate.gov.in between 24 July 2026 and 21 August 2026 (5:00 PM).
• Complete your Profile Registration on the portal if applying for the first time.
• Upload your light background passport photograph (50-100 KB JPG format) and scanned signature image (50-100 KB JPG format) into your profile.
• Log in using your profile credentials and select the recruitment application link for “Assistant Teacher Recruitment Examination (LSAT26)”.
• Fill in your educational marks, CG TET / CTET details, and district preferences carefully.
• Pay the prescribed examination fee online using Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI modes.
• Click on the “SUBMIT” button, verify the confirmation status, and take a clear printout copy of the final application form for future reference.
