• Mandatory PET Score: Must have appeared in UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test PET-2025 with a valid Scorecard (positive non-zero score).
• Passed Intermediate (10+2) with Biology Group from Board of High School and Intermediate Education UP or equivalent.
• Must possess a 2-Year Diploma in Livestock Extension from a recognized Veterinary University / College established by law.
• Working knowledge of Devanagari script in Hindi.

UPSSSC Mains Exam Pattern & Selection Scheme

• Shortlisting Criteria : Shortlisting for the Mains Written Examination will be based on PET-2025 Normalized Score (15 times the category-wise vacancies).
• Mains Written Exam Structure (Total 100 Questions | 100 Marks | 2 Hours) :
  • Part-1: Subject Knowledge (Animal Husbandry, Anatomy, Nutrition, Breeding, Dairy, Poultry, Diseases, Extension, etc.): 65 Questions (65 Marks)
  • Part-2: Computer & Information Technology Concepts, AI, IoT & Cyber Security: 15 Questions (15 Marks)
  • Part-3: General Knowledge related to Uttar Pradesh State: 20 Questions (20 Marks)
• Negative Marking : 0.25 mark (25% marks) will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
