Integral Coach Factory ICF Chennai Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Apply Online Form For 1010 Posts

About Post : Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai, Ministry of Railways has officially released the recruitment advertisement notification (Notification No. APP/01/2026-2027) for the engagement of Act Apprentices for imparting training under the Apprentices Act-1961. Online applications are invited from eligible Freshers and Ex-ITI candidates across various designated trades including Carpenter, Electrician, Fitter, Machinist, Painter, Welder, MLT (Radiology & Pathology), and PASAA. Online applications are accepted from 08 August 2026 to 07 September 2026 till 17:30 Hrs. Preference will be given to candidates belonging to the State of Tamil Nadu.  Passed Class 10th (Std X) with minimum 50% aggregate marks along with National Trade Certificate (NCVT/SCVT) in the relevant notified trade (1 year or above).

ICF Chennai Apprentice Mode of Selection

  • Selection Mode : Merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in Class 10th (Std X) examination.
  • Tie-Breaking Rule : If marks are equal, older candidate will be preferred. If date of birth is also same, candidate who passed Std X earlier will be considered first.
  • Document Verification : Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification and Medical Fitness Examination by a Govt authorized Gazetted Doctor.

How to Apply for ICF Chennai Apprentice Online Form 2026

  • Visit the official ICF web portal at pb.icf.gov.in.
  • Click on “Engagement of Act Apprentices Notification No. APP/01/2026-2027”.
  • Fill up personal details, educational qualifications, trade preferences, and local employment exchange registration details (State of Tamil Nadu) or Railway Ward details carefully.
  • Upload recent passport size photograph (in JPG/JPEG format, up to 200 KB).
  • Pay the processing fee of Rs. 100/- online (if applicable). SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates are exempted.
  • Submit the online application form before 07 September 2026 (till 17:30 Hrs) and print out the system-generated acknowledgment form for Document Verification.
