- Scale-I Posts (JMGS-I) : 21 to 30 Years (Civil Engineer: 25 to 30 Years)
- Scale-II Posts (MMGS-II) : 25 to 35 Years (Law Officer: 25 to 30 Years)
- Scale-III Posts (MMGS-III) : 28 to 37 Years (IT with CISA/CISM/CISSP: 28 to 40 Years)
- Scale-IV Posts (SMGS-IV) : 28 to 40 Years (Info Security / CISA: 28/32 to 42 Years)
- Age Relaxation : 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC (NCL), 10 years for PwBD, and 05 years for Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India guidelines.

BOI Specialist Officer Selection Process & Examination Pattern
- Selection Process : Shortlisting based on uploaded eligibility documents
- Online Written Test and/or Personal Interview
- Document Verification & Medical Examination.
- Online Examination Structure (Composite Time: 100 Minutes) :
• English Language: 25 Questions (25 Marks) – Qualifying in nature (marks not added to merit list)
• Professional Knowledge (Relevant to Post): 100 Questions (100 Marks) – Bilingual (English & Hindi) - Minimum Qualifying Marks : 35% in each test for General/EWS and 30% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates.
- Negative Marking : 0.25 (1/4th) mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- Interview Weightage : 100 Marks (Qualifying: 50% for Gen/EWS, 45% for Reserved). The combined weightage ratio of Online Exam to Interview is 60:40.
- Refundable Security Deposit : Rs. 1,00,000/- for JMGS-I, Rs. 2,00,000/- for MMGS-II, and Rs. 3,00,000/- for MMGS-III & above (refundable after 3 years of service).
How to Fill Bank of India Specialist Officer Online Form 2026
- Visit the official website of Bank of India at bankofindia.bank.in under the Career section.
- Click on “Recruitment of Officers in various streams upto Scale IV – Project No. 2026-27/02” and choose APPLY ONLINE.
- Register yourself by providing basic details, valid personal email ID, and mobile number to obtain Provisional Registration Number and Password.
- Select the post applied for (a candidate can apply for ONLY ONE post) and fill in educational qualification and relevant experience details.
- Upload scanned documents: Passport Photograph (20–50 KB), Live Photo Capture, Signature in black ink (10–20 KB), Left Thumb Impression (20–50 KB), and Handwritten Declaration (50–100 KB).
- Pay the application fee online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, or UPI.
- Submit the online application on or before 25 September 2026 and print out the completed application form along with the E-Receipt.
