Written Exam Pattern & Scheme
The Competitive Written Examination comprises three papers (OMR or Computer-Based Objective Type Test) conducted for candidates who qualify in the Trade Test:
- Total Questions: 150 Questions
- Total Duration: 2 Hours 30 Minutes
- Paper-I (1 Hour): Mental Ability Test (100 Marks, 50 Questions, No Negative Marking).
- Paper-II (30 Minutes): General Awareness (25 Questions, 75 Marks) & English Language (25 Questions, 75 Marks). 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- Paper-III (1 Hour): Concerned Subject (50 Questions, 150 Marks). 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- Paper-II & Paper-III will be evaluated only for candidates who secure the minimum threshold marks in Paper-I. The final merit list will be based strictly on performance in Paper-II and Paper-III.
